The Press Newspaper Which covers York, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and Harrogate is calling for nomination for their their Pub of the Year competition Categories as Follows;
•Best landlord: This title will recognise the licensee most revered by their customers.
• Best community pub: The winner of this award must be a true locals’ local – somewhere that is a community hub as well as a pub.
• Best entertainment: Whether it’s live music, televised sport, quiz nights or pub games, this award will recognise the pub that keeps punters entertained.
• Best food pub: This award will go to the pub that has the best food, taking into account quality, variety and value.
• Best outdoor area: This title will reward the pub with the most appealing garden or outdoor area.
• Best real ale pub: This will be based on both selection and quality, honouring the pub that appeals to real ale fans.
• Best overall pub: This will identify the best pub in our region, based on quality of service, drink selection and quality, food, entertainment, community involvement and overall atmosphere.
